Omni Ophthalmic Management Consultants announces that Fellowship Trained Neuro-Ophthalmologist, Dr. Kaushal Kulkarni, has joined Omni Eye Services. Starting in May 2019, Dr. Kulkarni will be serving patients in Omni’s Iselin and Rochelle Park offices.
“Dr. Kulkarni brings a wealth of training and experience in the specialty of neuro-ophthalmology for the patients of our referring doctors”, says Christopher Quinn, O.D. “We are so pleased to welcome Dr. Kulkarni to the practice as a resource for our network. He is accepting patients by referral for the full range of neuro-ophthalmic conditions.”
Dr. Kulkarni attained his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in New York, New York, graduated from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, completed his residency at the Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC and completed his fellowship at the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Kulkarni also worked at a private practice in San Diego, California for six years and was featured on Episode 14 of The Sharp Experience. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, a member of the Alumni Representative Committee at Columbia University and a fellow for the North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society. In his spare time, Dr. Kulkarni enjoys meditating.
